Following are the Steps to create an Excel Pivot Table report

1.      Start The Microsoft SQL Server.


2.      To connect from Excel to SQL Server Analysis Service (SSAS) in Excel go to File > Data and select From Other Sources. After that, select the From Analysis Services option. What we are doing is connecting to a Multidimensional SSAS Database using Excel.


3.      Enter the name of the server and the authentication where the Analysis Server is installed.


4.      Select the Analysis services.


5.      Save Data Connection File.

6.      Select The PivotChart and PivotTable Report and Existing worksheet.


7.      Sample shows the sales statistics of the Automatic Responses and Fact Call Centre Count.
